- The name changes will apply to catalyst orders shipped after October 1, 2018
- The change will harmonize the product nomenclature for consistent branding
The Evonik Business Line Catalysts will harmonize their product nomenclature for consistent branding across each of their product groups. The Metalyst® brand for activated metal catalysts (AMC) produced in Hanau, Germany stands for consistently high quality and reliability coupled with outstanding technical support. For orders that are shipped before October 1, 2018 there will be no changes. The name change will only apply for orders that are shipped after October 1, 2018.
The production process will remain the same, therefore no changes will be seen on the Certificate of Analysis nor the Material Safety Data Sheet other than the name of the material. We would like to emphasize that the described changes are only related to the nomenclature of the products and will not affect the properties and quality of our products and services. Further information will be sent directly to customers in the coming weeks, describing the changes in more detail.
