After 11 years in academia and industry he joined Evonik in 2017 as the lab manager for mechanical and composite testing in the polymer testing department of High Performance Polymers in Marl, Germany.

In his spare time, Andreas enjoys exploring foreign places and countries by bike together with his three sons and his wife.

Antônio Henrique holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2004), a degree in Mathematics (2009) and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (2007) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a Doctor’s degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010) in the field of Solid Mechanics , and a PostDoc from the Molecules Institute IMA/UFRJ (2015) in Polymer Technology. He works as a Polymers, Composites, and Data Analysis Expert at the Petrobras Research Center (CENPES) and is a permanent staff Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Engineering School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Arnaud Grison is graduated from the engineering school of Toulouse, France. After 18 years working in the field of gas treatment units engineering and construction, he joined NOV in 2016 as Gas Technologies Director. Arnaud is in charge of supporting NOV Wellstream offices in the design of gas treatment units especially gas sweetening, CO2 removal and gas dehydration units. Arnaud is based in Paris but works closely with NOV Wellstream processing global team to promote NOV gas technologies, to develop proposals and to support project execution around the world.

Carsten holds a Masters Degree in process engineering at Martin Luther University Halle/Germany. He has 11 years of experience in R&D in the polymers industry and research institutes. His functional experience includes polymer and composites development as well as polymer processing, Testing & Application technology.

Based in Germany at Evonik since 2011 as lab, project and team lead his work is mainly focused on the O&G market with engineering and high performance polymers and composites, most notably on the development, qualification and successful implementation of thermoplastic composites for TCP. Since 2 years he is managing the R&D projects portfolio for Industrial & Energy market segment and is engaged with a multitude of topics from on- and offshore piping, lining, cables, composites and more. Lately addressing the emerging energy transition topics throughout regions is becoming a big focus of his work.

Flavia Omena is a Chemical Engineer form the University if the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), master in Polymers by the same university. Flavia worked for 2 years in at UERJ as Consultant Teacher for the Chemical, Civil and Mechanics Engineering graduation in 2021. Flavia joined Baker Hughes in 2011, where she acted in several technical support activities in the Materials Engineering area, focused in polymeric materials, and in the Small-Scale Lab Coordination.

Flavia currently is the Senior Research Engineer in the qualification and development of polymeric materials applied on flexible piping and technical support to bidding processes.

Henk joined the company in 2012 as Team Lead Structural Design and held the position of Engineering Manager since 2014.

Before joining Strohm, Henk spent 13 years in Advanced Lightweight Engineering in various roles and the last 8 years as Chief Operational Officer. He holds a doctor's degree in mechanical engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Henk is married with four children. In his spare time he enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with his family.
